Welcome to Gardenhill Elementary School where we combine the warmth of a community with high expectations and student achievement. Parents, teachers and staff work together to know students, volunteer extra hours, and to build acceleration and remediation into the school day. Gardenhill truly tries to meet the individual needs of each chid. Volunteers are welcomed on campus to work in classrooms, the library, and at after school activities.
 
Gardenhill's API leaped over 900 in 2011! We are extremely proud of our Gardenhill community and its commitment to excellence for all students. The State's API scores have been released and Gardenhill leaped ahead, increasing by 8 points with our API score of 910, vastly exceeding the State's target of 800. Gardenhill is the top ranked school in Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, and we are proud of our accomplishments.
