National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society recognizes 8^th grade students who have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average each trimester during the 7^th grade and have received only Outstanding and Satisfactory marks for citizenship.

Students can benefit by being a member of the NJHS Chapter at Los Coyotes Middle School

in a number of ways:

1) Students receive special recognition for being amongst the top academic performers in their class.

2) Students participate in service learning

projects throughout the year.

3) Lastly, students are encouraged to seek out academic and service organizations similar

to NJHS as they enter high school.
